The approach is part of the experience, taking you through the traditional village, past stone houses and olive groves, before arriving at this secluded hillside home. Once there, the views, the architecture, and the feeling of tranquillity make it easy to understand the appeal.<\/p>\n

Villa Symphonia is designed around the idea that luxury doesn’t need to be overstated.<\/p>\n

The interiors are elegant and carefully considered, with high-end Italian furnishings, clean lines, and large windows that bring the surrounding landscape into the living spaces. Natural light and uninterrupted sea views are part of the experience throughout the villa.<\/p>\n

The main living room combines comfortable seating with a dining area, creating a welcoming space for spending time together. There’s also a fully equipped kitchen and a separate guest WC.<\/p>\n

The impressive 12.5 x 5 metre infinity pool sits above the coastline, creating a wonderful visual connection with the sea beyond. With sun loungers and parasols around the pool, there’s plenty of space to relax throughout the day.<\/p>\n

A shaded lounge area with wicker furniture offers a comfortable spot to escape the midday sun, while the outdoor dining area is ideal for long lunches and evening meals.<\/p>\n

There’s also a stone-built barbecue, a table tennis table, and table football, adding a little entertainment for those who enjoy a more active holiday.<\/p>\n

But for me, the real attraction is the setting itself. The combination of the pool, the hillside position, and the expansive sea views makes this a place where it’s very easy to lose track of time.<\/p>\n

The Location | A Quiet Corner of Corfu’s West Coast<\/h3>\n

Pentati is a traditional hillside village just south of Agios Gordios, with a slower pace of life and a wonderfully authentic atmosphere.<\/p>\n

The village is known for its stone houses, local character, and beautiful views across the coastline. You’ll find a small selection of traditional tavernas nearby, including Angela’s and Chris’s Place and Fieroula, both worth considering for a relaxed meal.<\/p>\n

For beach days, Agios Gordios offers a larger sandy beach, with clear water, beachside restaurants, caf\u00e9s, and bars. It’s a good option when you want a change of scenery from the villa.<\/p>\n

The west coast is also famous for its sunsets, and the elevated position of Villa Symphonia makes this a particularly appealing part of the island for anyone who enjoys watching the light change over the sea.<\/p>\n

A rental car is essential, as the villa’s secluded setting means you’ll need to drive for most outings and everyday shopping.<\/p>\n

Villa Symphonia offers full air conditioning, heating, complimentary Starlink Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and a tumble dryer.<\/p>\n

It’s also a wonderful option for those who value peace and scenery over being in the middle of a busy resort. You can enjoy a relaxed day at the villa, head out to a traditional taverna in the evening, and return to the quiet of the hillside.<\/p>\n
